Here at Al-Nibras we recognise the importance of therefore choosing a curriculum which aims at serving the young and growing Muslims of tomorrow who are mostly non-Arabic speakers.

For that reason, we have chosen the following curriculums as foundations of education for your child:

1.Quran Hifth (memorisation) Classes

Learning goals:

• Accurate memorization of the Book of Allah
• Learning the general meaning of the verses
• Learning the reasons for revealing the verses

The Hifth (memorisation) classes aim to aid students in accurately memorizing the Holy Quran, starting with Juzu Amma, the students will learn through listen-repeat “Halaqa” approach, understand meaning of the Quran verses and reasons for revealing the verses.

As the students’ progress, they are able to learn at their own pace according to their memorisation ability and move on to memorise the rest of the Quran.

2.Quran Qaida Classes

Learning goals:

• Accurate read the Book of Allah
• According to Tajweed Rules
• Hold own Quran Khatm (complete Quran reading)

Using the Al-Qaidah An-Noraniah curriculum, children will begin exploring the Arabic alphabet through phonetic sounds, learn to recognise Arabic letters in its different forms (beginning, middle, and end), read words with vowels, and eventually read verses of the holy Quran with Tajweed rules.

Al-Qaidah An-Noraniah curriculum is an authentic method that teaches how to read the Holy Quran with Basic Tajweed in an attractive way especially for children. Once Al-Qaidah An-Noraniah is completed students are then able to move to reading the Quran and applying the Tajweed rules. This will complement the Quran Hifth classes as it enables the children to memorise through reading as well as listening. Through this class, the child will also familiarise themselves with meanings of common words in the Quran.

3.Islamic Studies – I Love Islam Book Series.

Learning goals:

I Love Islam is a series of Islamic studies textbooks that gradually introduces Muslim students to the essentials of their faith and brings to light historic and cultural aspects of Islam. Each book of the series is designed to emphasize the aspects of Islam which are appropriate for the grade level. The series cover grades one through twelve and include a student textbook and workbook.
